ABOUT

"Jersey-Born singer makes yet another hauntingly beautiful indie album"

- Oliver Blandin, Music Today Post

"Jamie's new album 'Oats In The Water' touches the soul with its deep themes and passion"

- Julian Hart, Local Musician

Jamie Robinson is an English singer/songwriter who rose to prominence on the basis of his 2014 LP, Games In The Dark.

He was born in Jersey - Channel Islands in 1991, growing up on the Island, where his mother's collection of folk records helped instill a love for Joni Mitchell, Donovan, and Richie Havens. Jamie, being raised on the coast developed an interest in surfing, water sports and photography; which he still pursues today, helping direct many of his own music videos. Jamie dropped out of school just shy of graduation, though, convinced by the surf community's enthusiastic response to his music -- with its acoustic folk sound and beachy vibe -- and focus on songwriting.

The Island community proved to be a big stepping stone for Jamie, who found himself playing to packed audiences long before his music spread beyond the Island. The release of his next EPs like 'All Is Now Harmed' and now 'Oats In The Water' have now propelled his music well beyond the Island and the UK.

Due to his past success his new album has been released by Island Records, after signing a major-label deal with Island Records, with Jamie now graduating to headliner status, thanks to growing fan bases in England, Germany, France, and Holland.

Robinson has been appearing at high-profile U.K. festivals throughout the beginning of this year, with many live performances lined up throughout which we hope you can attend.
